Founded in November 2000, San'an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. became listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600703) in July 2008. Headquartered in the “Garden on the Sea” Xiamen, the company has its industrialization bases in Xiamen, Tianjin, Wuhu and Quanzhou. It has been approved as an enterprise with “National Hi-tech Industrialization Demonstration Project” by the National Development and Reform Commission and “National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise” by the MIIT. It has undertaken several major projects including the “863” Program and “973” Program. Besides, San'an owns a post-doctoral scientific research station approved by the Ministry of Personnel and national enterprise technology center.

San'an Optoelectronics is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and marketing of full-color, ultrahigh-brightness LED epitaxial wafers, chips, III-V compound semiconductors, microwave communication IC and power devices and optical communication components. Its products feature leading performance. Bolstered by its strengths, San’an Optoelectronics invested 33.3 billion yuan in industries of III-V compound semiconductor materials, LED epitaxial wafers, chips, microwave IC, optical communication, RF filter, power electronics, SIC materials and devices and special packaging in 2018 after it increased the industrialization of LED epitaxial chip R&D and manufacturing, made investments in IC industry and completed the project of GaAs high-speed semiconductor and GaN high-power semiconductor in 2014. •Established as the first wholly-owned subsidiary of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. in Xiamen Special Economic Zone in November 2000, Xiamen San’an Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is located at No. 1721 - 1725, Lyuling Road, Siming District, Xiamen, which is also the headquarters of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. As a Key High-tech Enterprise in Xiamen, Xiamen San’an Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of RMB 360 million, a modern garden-type R&D and production base covering an area of 50,000 m2 and 720 employees including 2 employees with doctoral degrees and over 200 employees with bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees.
•Xiamen San’an Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is both the first LED industrialization base of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. and the first model LED industrialization base with the best quality, which covers an area of 75 mu and has been equipped with 31 units of C4 and K465 MOCVD equipment and all supporting equipment. Xiamen San'an Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd.

•Xiamen San'an Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. ("San'an IC" for short) is located in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan on a planned area of 281 mu. It is one of Fujian Major Industrial Projects 2014-2018 and Xiamen Key Projects 2015, and an emerging industry of strategic importance with government support. San'an IC will build new production lines for gallium arsenide (GaAs) and gallium nitride (GaN) epitaxial wafers, as well as those for gallium arsenide (GaAs) high-speed semiconductor chips and gallium nitride (GaN) high-power semiconductor chips targeting microelectronic devices for wireless communication. Risk production started in October 2015, and San'an IC will, upon volume production, become the first fab in China to combine large-scale R&D and manufacturing capabilities for compound semiconductor chips.rn

Xiamen San'an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.

•Xiamen San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. The project began to operate in Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Phase III (Tong’an) in April 2014. The project has a total investment of 10.0895 billion yuan and an area of 489,000 m2, and it was put into operation in December 2015.
•Xiamen San’an Optoelectronics boasts large-scale production line for blue and green LED epitaxial wafers and chips, modern clean workshops with the level of cleanliness from 100 to 10,000. Presently, it has established production line consisting of 200 units of MOCVD, and has newly-built chip production line (suitable for markets of lighting, backlight, display, auto lighting and Mini-LED).

Fujian Jing'an optoelectronics Co. Ltd.

•Founded in October 2011, Fujian Jinan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 500 million yuan. Located in Quanzhou (Hutou) Optoelectronic Industry Park, it is well equipped with functional facilities and covers a total area of about 440,000 square meters.
• The company has a technology & management team of industry professionals from different countries and regions and introduces advanced R&D and production equipment. It is dedicated to sapphire crystal growth, cutting, grinding, polishing and precision processing;

Wuhu Anrui Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.

•With a registered capital of RMB 260 million, Wuhu Anrui Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was established in 2010 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., the largest LED chip manufacturer in China. Located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, its plant covers an area of 160 mu. With an investment of RMB 500 million, the first phase of construction covers an area of 25,600 m2. Anrui Optoelectronics is mainly engaged in the design, development and manufacture of automobile LED light source packaging, LED automobile light modules and LED automobile lights. It also possesses a national-level automobile light and LED light source laboratory certified by TS 16949 Quality Management System and China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Anrui Optoelectronics currently has 865 employees (including 130 developers and engineering technicians) and an annual production of 500,000 sets of automobile lights. At present, it mainly provides supporting services for clients, such as Bosch Multimedia, Chang’an Automobile, Beijing Automotive, Chery Automobile, ZOTYE Auto, GAC Gonow, Baic Yinxiang, Weichai Automotive, Lifan Motors, XINDAYANG Electric Car, Bakauto Electromobile, Saic Motor and Geely Automobile.

•As a wholly-owned subsidiary of San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (stock code: 600703), Tianjin San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded in Binhai Hi-tech Zone in December 2008 with a registered capital of 600 million yuan. It specializes in R&D and production of semiconductor LED epitaxial wafers and chips and solar epitaxial wafers and chips. Located in No. 20, Haitai South Road, Huayuan Industrial Park, Tianjin, it covers an area of about 120,000 m2.

•The LED industrialization project of Tianjin San’an is one of the 4th List of 20 Key Industrial Projects 2008 of Tianjin. Established in Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone in January 2010, Anhui San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 2.98 billion yuan and covers an area of about 1,332,000 square meters. Quanzhou San'an Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.

San’an high-end semiconductor project is the first leading project introduced into “Quanzhou Chip Valley” Nan’an Industrial Park. A total of 33.3 billion is invested (including public facilities investment). The project is expected to go into operation in 5 years and reach design capacity in 7 years. The operating period is no less than 25 years. Annual sales revenue will arrive at 27 billion yuan with tax revenue of 3 billion yuan. The project includes seven industrial projects: high-end GaN LED substrates, epitaxial wafers and chips; high-end GaAs LED epitaxial wafers and chips; high-power GaN lasers; optical communication devices and modules; RF filters; power semiconductors (power electronics); special substrate materials and special packaging products.
